The Hottest Planet in Our Solar System

Venus, the second planet from the Sun, has a diameter of about 7,520 miles, making it slightly smaller than Earth. The surface of Venus is extremely hot, with temperatures reaching up to 464 degrees Celsius due to its thick atmosphere composed mainly of carbon dioxide. Venus is one of the only planets to spin clockwise, along with Uranus.
